Why is my mom convinced that I am trying to get myself pregnant? I know why you’d be suspicious because I have a boyfriend now but don’t base your fears on what your friends tell you or what your friend’s kids get themselves into. I’m a big girl, practically almost legal.. in 9 more months.
Why are you so nosey all of a sudden? It’s been a long while since we’ve even exchanged words and our accidental bump ins are just plain awkward. But lately I’ve been occupied with a great guy and surely you have your girl on board so asking about me and my love life won’t help you move on in life.
I wish I could just tell my parents I’m going somewhere & just leave. If I’m not at school, I’m volunteering. If I’m not volunteering, I’m with family. If I’m not with family. I’m being a loner at home
It's alright to lose your pride over something you love, but never lose something you love over your pride.
I hate how I always see couples that look so perfect for each other, yet one of them has to be so cocky and always put the other one down.
Don’t be cocky, and don’t say things to your boyfriend or girlfriend that might hurt their feelings or something that you might not want to hear them saying. Playing around or joking once in a while is alright, but if you constantly do it, your boyfriend/girlfriend’s self-esteem will go down and they seem to not care anymore.
The problem with the way some parents shelter their kids is when they finally get out of the house, they will go apeshit. They will have all of this freedom that they’ve never had before and won’t know what to do with it.. except go crazy. Which is where they fuck up their lives.
See, if parents gradually let their kids have freedom (but still obtain a grip on them so they know who’s boss) they’d have a better relationship with their kids and their kids will actually know how to -somewhat- control themselves by the time they have to leave the house
The moment I get a bigger bed and a lock on my door is when my mom decides to knock and ask “Do I hear a boy in here?” Really mom?! I’ve had a boy in here for 2 weeks now and you’ve never barged in when my door had no lock whatsoever. Just when I was getting cozy.. JUST MY LUCK.
